We are now accepting proposals!
We are now accepting proposals for talks at FOSDEM PGDay 2027, taking place on January 28th-29th. Submissions are accepted until 2026-12-01 at 23:59:59 CET.
Accepted speakers for FOSDEM PGDay are expected to be notified by 2026-12-20. All submitters will be notified of the outcome of their proposals.
Each session is 45 minutes after which there will be time for questions. All presentations have to be in English.
All selected speakers for FOSDEM PGDay will get free entry to the event but must register. No registration is required to attend the main FOSDEM event.
We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the PostgreSQL community and to building a speaker lineup that reflects it. We want everyone to feel welcome to submit and to speak.
If you need travel support, accessibility accommodations, or other help to participate as a speaker, please note this in your submission notes. FOSDEM PGDay operates on a limited budget, so we can’t guarantee full reimbursement for all speakers, but we prioritize support for underrepresented groups and cases where assistance enables attendance.
If your talk is accepted and you need help, we will work with you to find a solution, and we will treat any support requests confidentially. If you would like to support these efforts, please contact the PostgreSQL Europe Diversity Committee.
We look forward to hearing your story and seeing you in Brussels!
